Meet dr. la'boris cOle
Dr. La’Boris Cole, a proud native of Mississippi, is a distinguished mental health professional and educator with a deep passion for healing and empowerment. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. She further earned a Doctorate in Clinical Counseling: Teaching and Supervision, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.

Affectionately known as the “Soul, Mental, and Emotional Physician,” Dr. Cole is a nationally board-certified counselor, a certified Prepare/Enrich Marriage Program facilitator, and a certified Level I Clinician in Emotionally Focused Therapy. She is also a highly sought-after business and life coach, serving celebrities, entrepreneurs, and leaders across industries.

Dr. Cole is the CEO and Director of Cole Associates and Counselors of Texas, PLLC, as well as Restoration Treatment Center, LLC, two community-focused facilities offering safe, supportive environments for individuals dealing with substance abuse, addiction, and mental health challenges.

In her role as an educator, Dr. Cole serves as an Adjunct Professor and works as a drug and alcohol consultant. She has also served as a facilitator for the 1st Offenders Program with the Metro Davidson County School District in Nashville, TN.

Additionally, Dr. Cole is the author of Wisdom Over War: I Dodged a Bullet, a compelling narrative that initially presents as a love story but unfolds with powerful themes of spiritual warfare, narcissism, and the triumph of wisdom.
Dr. La'Boris Cole is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, committed to preaching and teaching the Word with clarity, power, and purpose. She has held numerous leadership roles within ministry settings, with a strong focus on worship arts and the integration of creative expression with mental and emotional health awareness. She is the Founder of Born 2 Danz, a dynamic dance ministry dedicated to teaching the principles of dance from both a professional and biblical foundation.

Through Born 2 Danz Ministries, Dr. Cole hosts the annual Prophetic Dance and Mime Conferences, which attract participants from across the globe. These gatherings offer transformative experiences where attendees encounter God through movement, worship, and the Word.
​
For several years, Dr. Cole has served as an artistic director and choreographer for dance ministries at churches and ministries internationally. She has trained dancers in technical excellence as well as in biblical understanding, equipping them to minister with both skill and spiritual depth.

Dr. Cole has shared the stage in ministry with renowned gospel artists and her contributions to the field of liturgical dance have also been recognized in the Mississippi Black Inaugural Entrepreneur Magazine for Dance.
